How much lead time custom fabrication actually needs

A custom stage or branded structure isn't a rental: there's no catalogue item to pull off a shelf. Every build starts with a structural drawing, a materials order, and a build sequence, and each of those steps has its own minimum time regardless of how the event date is set.

Compressed timelines are possible, but they trade off against design complexity: a modular, reusable structure can be turned around faster than a fully bespoke one-off, simply because the engineering review is lighter.

The honest answer we give clients is that ten working days is a realistic floor for anything beyond a simple branded panel. Anything faster usually means simplifying the design, not just adding more crew.
